Why has my tortoise lost his appetite?
Lowered temperatures are the very first thing to check whenever a tortoise losses his/her appetite.
Can you ship to Hawaii?
Yes, most of the over 500 of varieties of turtles and tortoises we offer are allowed to go to Hawaii. Hawaii first requires that you fill out a permit application, which only takes about 15 minutes. (No one has ever tried and not succeeded:) Hawaii also requires that a veterinarian check the health of any animal sent to Hawaii, and the animal must come with a Vet signed health certificate. This cost is passed on to you - at a reduced rate. Shipping to Hawaii normally costs approximately 15% more then normal shipping, and your turtle or tortoise must first go to the Hawaii Department of Agriculture for clearance, and then its immediately forwarded to you. The extra effort often inspires keepers to consolidate orders with other people, or to place orders for more than one turtle or tortoise which only makes good sense. Just give us a call if you have any questions. - We are here to help you make it happen.
